HOMO FABER BIENNIAL
PARCHMENT SCULPTURE LIVE DEMONSTRATION
From September 6 to 9, I had the opportunity to give a live demonstration at the Homo Faber biennial, which is currently taking place in Venice throughout the month of September.
For this occasion, during the four days of live demonstrations, I worked on a reinterpretation of an early 17th-century Venetian parchment flag fan. This gave the public the opportunity to discover the art of parchment engraving—a craft that reached its peak in Venice during the mid-17th century.
